HotelTonight
People love visiting family for the holidays. Staying under the same roof is another story. “Visit, Don’t Stay” turned familiar family friction into a compelling reason to book with HotelTonight. By dramatizing the quirks that can make even the happiest holiday visit last a little too long, we positioned the last-minute booking app as an escape that was always within reach. The campaign drove a 30% lift in bookings over the holiday season.

FIGHTING WORDS
We called upon some cheesy stock photos and personal experience to encourage people on Twitter to escape their shady families with HotelTonight.
*CROSS* STITCH
We created some less-than-charming cross stitch messages to encourage young people to skip Grandma’s smelly pull-out couch this holiday season and treat themselves to private hotel room instead.

“Visit, Don’t Stay” PETS EDITION
We reprised the “Visit, Don’t Stay” campaign the following year, this time focusing on the stinky, creepy, slobbering pets of your loved ones. So the next time Mr. Floofkins mistakes your luggage for a litter box… you know where to turn.
